Nanchang Changbei Airport is located in the newly-built area of Nanchang.

Nanchang Changbei Airport, namely Nanchang Changbei International Airport, is located in Airport Road, Xinjian District, Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province, China, about 28 kilometers away from downtown Nanchang, and is a 4E-class civil transport airport.

In February 2004, Nanchang Changbei Airport was upgraded to an international airport by opening its port to foreign aircraft. In 2006, the second phase reconstruction and expansion project of Nanchang Changbei International Airport broke ground and was put into use in 2009. On May 23rd, 20 1 1, the T2 terminal of Nanchang Changbei International Airport was officially opened.

After the expansion, Nanchang Changbei International Airport has become a 4E-class international airport, which can take off and land all aircraft except Airbus A380.
