What are the requirements for taking the tour guide exam?

At present, tour guides are not a freelance job open to the public. If you want to take an outbound tour group, you still need a travel agency as your own master. The country has cancelled the tour guide card, but the basic requirements for tour guides are still retained.

List the corresponding requirements of overseas travel for tour leaders as follows:

(a) to obtain a tour guide card;

(2) Having a college degree or above;

(3) Obtaining the relevant language proficiency test grade certificate or passing the foreign language tour guide qualification examination, except for the tour leaders appointed for traveling to Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan;

(4) Having at least two years of relevant experience in business operation, management or tour guide;

(5) Conclude a labor contract with a travel agency that has appointed it to be a tour leader and obtained a business license for outbound tourism.

Although the country of the relevant language proficiency test grade certificate has not been specified, it has been clearly stipulated in the Measures for the Administration of the Filing of Outbound Tour Leaders in Nanjing: CET-4 or above, CET-3 or above, or English tour guide certificate.
