1. Application process:

1. Register through an agency.

2. The registration conditions will be reviewed by the Vocational Skills Appraisal Center of each province.

3. After passing the review, pay the examination fee and receive the admission ticket after paying the fee in full.

4. Take the national unified examination.

5. After the exam, the exam results will be notified and certificates will be issued within three to four months (those who failed can take the exam).

Examination levels

The National Vocational Qualification Appraisal*** is divided into three levels. As a profession with high knowledge content, psychological counselors directly select from the three levels. Starting from 2006, the new national professional standards for psychological counselors issued by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security will be used for the qualification examination.

The new standards stipulate that the profession of psychological counselors is divided into three levels, namely: psychological counselor level 3, psychological counselor level 2, and psychological counselor level 1 (not open).
