Introduction of Shaoshan South Station

Shaoshan South Station (Shanghai-Kunming high-speed railway) is a newly-built Shaoshan South Station, located in Yongyi Township, Shaoshan City, Hunan Province, and under the jurisdiction of Guangzhou Railway (Group) Company. It spans Shaonan Village and Yongquan Village, and is adjacent to Shaoshan Industrial Park, about 6.5km away from the city center. The station is located in the hilly area, with lush vegetation on the surface. Most of the mountains are trees and weeds, and most of the foothills are paddy fields and ponds. The central mileage of the station is DK65+885, with the upward direction adjacent to Xiangtan North Station and the downward direction adjacent to Loudi South Station. The nature of the station is a passenger intermediate station. It was completed and opened to traffic on December 16th, 214.
