Yangshan New District, Xinyang City, Henan Province belongs to Pingqiao District, Xinyang City. Yangshan New District is located in the northeast of Xinyang City, closely connected with the old city, starting from Beijing-Guangzhou Railway in the west, Beijing-Guangzhou High-speed Railway in the east, Ningxi Railway in the south and Shanghai-Shaanxi Expressway in the north.

Yangshan New District is the office of the five major organs of the municipal party, government and army, and a new political, economic, cultural and educational center in Xinyang. Established in June 2003, it has jurisdiction over four sub-district offices, namely Yangshan, Qianjin, Nanjing Road and Longfeishan, as well as the management office of Beihu Management District and Jiayuan Town, with a planned total area of 108 square kilometers.
