"Returnee" used to be synonymous with high-end talents, and it was a "fragrant cake" hired by the talent market with high salary. However, the "20 17 Survey Report on the Employment and Entrepreneurship of Returnees in China" (hereinafter referred to as the "Report") recently released by a recruitment website shows that nearly 50% of the returnees earned less than 6,000 yuan after their first employment, and 68.9% of the returnees interviewed thought that their salary was far below the expected salary.
According to the report, in the salary distribution of returnees' initial employment, 6000 yuan or less accounts for the most, accounting for 44.8%, followed by 600 1~8000 yuan, accounting for 22.7%.
When asked whether the actual work income is consistent with personal expectations, only 1% people think it is higher than expected, 30. 1% people think it is basically the same, and 68.9% people think it is much lower than expected. Moreover, this salary level is not low compared with domestic fresh college graduates. According to the Investigation Report on Employment Ability of 20 17 Fresh Graduates, 53.7% of the fresh graduates actually signed a monthly salary of 2000~3999 yuan (before tax). Experts said that due to the generally good family environment of returnees, large investment in the early stage, and lack of understanding of the domestic employment environment, they have high expectations for salary levels.
However, with the title of "Returnee", it is relatively easy to find a job in China. The survey shows that 38.6% of the returnees can get their first job within 1 ~ 3 months, while 32. 1% takes less than 1 month, 18.5% takes 3~6 months and 7% takes 6 ~/kloc-.
However, on the whole, the returned groups in Shanghai hold a positive attitude towards the value of studying abroad. 36.3% think the income is greater than the cost, 18. 1% think the income is less than the cost, 27.3% think the income is less than the cost, and 18.3% think it is unclear. 50. 1% of returnees think that the experience of studying abroad is beneficial to personal promotion, 44.8% think it has little influence, and the remaining 5. 1% think that the background of studying abroad is not conducive to personal promotion.
After returning to China, 50.5% of the returnees interviewed said that they could smoothly integrate into domestic life and work, 44.7% thought they could gradually overcome difficulties, and 4.8% said they could never fully integrate.
In terms of employment industry, returnees are more inclined to innovate technology and start businesses in modern service industries. Mainly concentrated in IT/ communication/electronics/Internet industry, accounting for 15.5%, followed by financial industry, accounting for 14.6%, and physical education/arts and crafts accounting for 9.9%.
It is worth noting that in this survey, entrepreneurs only accounted for 7.9% of returnees. Employment information consultation, policy interpretation of returnees, career planning and employment recommendation are the four services that returnees are most eager to obtain before returning to China, accounting for 19.8%, 19.8%, 19% and 18.7% respectively.
This reflects from the side that this country is rich in talents.
