Previously, the Guangzhou Municipal Communications Commission has repeatedly asked bicycle platform companies to increase investment in operation and maintenance, do a good job in on-site order management, and it is strictly forbidden to launch any new car. However, according to the results of this inspection, in addition to the launch of new cars, we also found that there are three outstanding problems in the on-site order management of enterprises, namely, "vehicles are parked indiscriminately, disorderly parking hinders traffic, and response and disposal are not timely". Among them, 4,263 cases of illegal parking were found, and ofo and mobike ranked the top two.

According to the data of Guangzhou Municipal Communications Commission, as of the end of July, the cumulative volume of six Internet rental bicycle platform enterprises in Guangzhou has exceeded 800,000, with more than 9 million registered users. However, in order to seize the market, enterprises have problems such as disorderly delivery of vehicles, disorderly parking and misplacement of vehicles, untimely and effective vehicle dispatching and transfer in some hot spots, untimely response of enterprise operation and maintenance, insufficient investment in operation and maintenance, untimely recovery of old and faulty vehicles, etc., which have become the chronic diseases of Guangzhou urban management.

In view of the problems existing in the inspection, the Guangzhou Municipal Communications Commission and the district governments jointly interviewed mobike, ofo, Xiaoming, Xiaolan, Youbai, Kuchi and other enterprises enjoying bicycle platforms. All enterprises are required to stop the launch of new cars, concentrate on increasing investment in operation and maintenance, and do a good job in the operation and management of vehicles that have been launched at present, including timely and orderly parking of vehicles, timely dispatching and transshipment of accumulated and blocked vehicles, and timely recovery of old and faulty vehicles. At the same time, the newly established Internet Bicycle Rental Professional Committee (Guangzhou) is required to give full play to the role of industry self-regulatory organizations and accelerate the establishment of industry rules and standards.
