The cartoon created by the famous cartoonist Xianman and Mo has exceeded 300 million hits since Tencent Animation began to be serialized, and it is an out-and-out popular cartoon. Its features, such as cultivating immortals, Xian Xia and vomiting blood, are also very suitable for some interests of animation users and even the public, so we not only decided to include it in the list of animation, but also invested resources in it, hoping to build a boutique animation IP. In this process, we also got the interest of many partners, and finally we jointly produced and promoted this animation. Moreover, our partners, including Reading Group and Deen Society, also spoke highly of us. Because first of all, Tencent Animation is the largest original and genuine online animation platform in China. Secondly, they affirmed our high professional ability, our understanding of the works and, most importantly, our passion for animation.
Q: Can you tell us about the process of deciding to cooperate with Japanese animation companies to produce and broadcast in Japan? What are your plans for this transnational cooperation and the future overseas cooperation strategy?
A: Studio DEEN is a well-known animation production company in Japan. In our past cooperation, the other party learned that we wanted to make this animation, and Deen Society expressed great interest in Once upon a time there was a sword mountain, and we also recognized each other very much. After communication, Tencent Animation, Dream Painting Alliance and Deen Society decided to jointly produce and promote it. We are full of expectations for this transnational cooperation. Lingjian Mountain is definitely an important event, and we will have more overseas cooperation cases on 20 16. Stay tuned.
Q: Tencent has recently integrated various resources at home and abroad and made frequent moves in the animation field. I hope Tencent leaders can tell us about Tencent's strategic goals in IP animation, as well as the related prospects and visions for the development of animation industry.
A: Star animation IP has always been our goal. In 20 15, we put forward the concept of secondary economy at Tencent animation industry cooperation conference. Based on the Internet and mobile Internet, we will develop and cultivate star IP, and build a secondary cultural consumption pattern with public influence through the multiple content forms of * * * *.
Animation is a key step in this process. Animation plays a great role in improving the influence of animation works and the audience of users.
Finally, I hope to create a star animation IP that users like and make it more popular. We believe that through reasonable business model and user orientation, China animation will enter a virtuous circle and get better and better.
