Zhuhai Campus of Sun Yat-sen University is a part of Sun Yat-sen University, which was originally Sun Yat-sen University.

As a part of Sun Yat-sen University, Zhuhai Campus of Sun Yat-sen University is an authentic Sun Yat-sen University, an experimental area for cultivating high-quality talents, an expansion area for discipline construction and a radiation area for the transformation of scientific research achievements. CUHK Zhuhai Campus has complete infrastructure such as teaching, experiment, books, life, culture and sports, with a high starting point and high construction level, with a total construction area of 240,000 square meters and a total investment of nearly 654.38 billion yuan. The teaching building in the campus covers 77,000 square meters and can accommodate 20,000 students. The library covers an area of 36,000 square meters and has more than 200,000 books. The basic teaching laboratory in the school has been transformed and invested heavily to form an experimental platform for eight disciplines, including geoscience, information, biology, physics, chemistry, computer science, language science and psychological science.
