When will Dalian Xi Zhong Island Oil Project start?

PetroChina Dalian Petrochemical relocated to Xi Zhong Island. It is expected to start upgrading next year and accelerate the transformation from fuel refinery to chemical refinery.

On June 8th, 202 1 (Dalian) propane dehydrogenation industrial chain and hydrogen energy comprehensive utilization forum was held in Dalian. The reporter learned at the meeting that the relocation project of China Petroleum Dalian Petrochemical Company (hereinafter referred to as Dalian Petrochemical) is being actively promoted. The first phase of 6.5438+million tons/year oil refining project and 6.5438+0.2 million tons/year ethylene project are expected to be approved this year, and construction will start in the first half of next year, so as to be completed and put into operation in 2024.
