Shengjing Grand Theatre is located in Shenyang, China, formerly known as Shenyang Culture and Art Center, with a total construction area of about 85,000 square meters, shaped like a diamond. In addition to the comprehensive theater, concert hall and multi-function hall, the overall building of Shenyang Culture and Art Center also includes more than 3,000 square meters of underground garage and more than 30,000 square meters of ancillary buildings. Many artistic performances can be held here, such as ballet, drama, opera, ballet, concert, fashion show, comprehensive party and so on. After accurate acoustic calculation, the performance here is comparable to that of the National Grand Theatre.

The shape of Shenyang Culture and Art Center is "diamond", the steel skeleton weighs 1 10,000 tons, and the rhombic facade is 30,000 square meters. At present, a 10,000-ton skeleton has been built, which consists of 36 groups of embedded steel members, 26 cast steel joints, 89 steel structure main members and 576 secondary members. Among them, the heaviest cast steel joint is 103 ton, which is a special super-large and overweight joint, and its application in domestic building steel structure engineering is extremely rare.

On the surface, "Diamond" needs to complete the overall installation of more than 30,000 square meters of glass curtain wall. When completed, the whole building looks like a huge diamond with 64 cutting faces. Each face consists of 400 triangular glass plates, and * * * needs 25,600 pieces of glass. Among them, the largest glass area is 123 1 square meter, and some glass weighs several thousand kilograms. According to reports, the center "drilling surface" is made of four layers of double-layer insulating glass to increase the sparkle of "diamond" and make "giant diamond" look more transparent and beautiful.
