Does the chief project engineer need my permission?

This position doesn't require my consent.

Usually, the project chief engineer is appointed and recruited by the project owner, and his work and responsibilities are given by the project owner without his consent.

If the project owner refuses to give the relevant post to the project chief engineer, or the project chief engineer is unwilling to take the post, it needs to be resolved through consultation with the project owner.
