On the way of our little reporter's visit, we witnessed the earth-shaking changes in Shishan. In the newly developed urban area, villas have mushroomed, fashionable and chic, surrounded by green belts, and all kinds of large enterprises have settled in Shishan, which makes people shine!

The waste incineration power plant can best reflect the scientific and technological development of Shishan. In the power plant, the first thing you see is an 80-meter-high "Nanhai Green Power" chimney that goes straight into the sky. It is strange that there is no smoke, which makes us full of doubts. Stepping into the workshop, the machine roared, all kinds of throats stretched wildly, and the instrument was very accurate. We looked around curiously. According to the factory aunt's explanation, garbage is mainly collected from Guicheng and Shishan. Stacked in garbage cans for 2 or 3 days, it will ferment and the heat will increase. Then the huge grab bucket is manipulated to throw the garbage into another pool, and the garbage is transported to the furnace at 1000 degrees for combustion by the pusher. Garbage releases higher internal energy, turns water into steam to drive a generator, and the generator will generate electricity. I have never heard of garbage power generation. I didn't expect that garbage can also be burned to generate electricity, turning waste into treasure. Our little reporter surrounded my aunt and asked her questions that she didn't understand. In the interview, our doubts about the mysterious chimney were finally solved. Ha ha! It turns out that garbage will produce toxic gases during incineration, so a flue gas purifier is specially installed to decompose and reconcile the toxic gases to ensure that the discharged gas components are empty.
