What ports are there in Weifang?

Weifang is located in the middle of Shandong Peninsula, with a coastline of 140 km. According to the master plan of Weifang Port, there are four ports in the jurisdiction of Weifang Port, namely, the eastern, central and western ports of Weifang Port and inland ports. The central port area of Weifang Port is operated by Weifang Sendamei Port Co., Ltd., located on the south bank of Laizhou Bay and the west side of Bailang River in Bohai Sea, with geographical coordinates of 3714' n' n,191'e, and the port area was built on May 1996. One type of port is an open port. The inland river port area of Weifang Port is operated by Yangkou Port Authority, which is located on the south bank of Xiaoqing River downstream in the north of Yangkou Town, Shouguang City. The port is about 20km away from the estuary of the river, with a geographical position of 3716' n' n,18 53' e, and there are 4 berths of1000t class, with a wharf coastline of 400m and a designed handling capacity of 600,000 tons.

On September 5, 2005, Weifang Port Co., Ltd. and Malaysia Sendamei Group jointly established Weifang Sendamei Port Co., Ltd., and Sendamei Group invested 654.38+0.5 billion yuan to build a 10,000-ton wharf, a 10,000-ton waterway and a breakwater project.
