Zhongshan City does not have a municipal examination, and only Guangzhou and Shenzhen in Guangdong have provincial examinations.

The 2015 Guangzhou Civil Service Examination includes a written test and an interview.

(1) Written test

The written test subjects are "Administrative Vocational Ability Test" and "Application Theory". For details, please refer to the "Guangzhou City 2015 Civil Service Written Examination Subject Examination Outline".

08:00-09:30 "Administrative Vocational Ability Test"

10:30-12:30 "Application Theory"

The written test score is calculated based on the sum of the "Administrative Vocational Ability Test" and "Application Theory" scores, and is rounded to one decimal place.

This written examination will be screened for identical papers, and cheaters will be dealt with seriously.

Applicants can log in to the registration website with their ID number and admission ticket number to check their written test results.

(2) Interview

Interview candidates will be selected from candidates who have passed the written test in descending order according to their written test scores, in a ratio that is three times the number of applicants for the position. If the number of candidates who pass the written examination does not reach the prescribed ratio, interview candidates will be determined based on the number of qualified candidates.

The interviews are strictly in accordance with the "Implementation Rules for Civil Servant Recruitment Interviews in Guangdong Province (Trial)" and are conducted in a unified manner across the city at a unified time. Interview scores will be rounded to 2 decimal places. Specific matters such as interview time and location will be notified later.

The total test score is calculated according to the following formula:

The total test score = written test score ÷ 2 × 60 interview score × 40.

The total test score will be rounded to 3 decimal places. If the total scores of candidates for the same position are the same, the ranking will be determined according to the written test scores and administrative professional ability test scores in order.

The passing score line for written test scores and total test scores shall be determined by the municipal civil servants department in accordance with regulations.
