In Yanchangbao Township, Dingbian County. Huamachi, also known as Dachai, has a long history. As far back as the tenth year of Zhengde in Zhu Houzhao, Wuzong of Ming Dynasty (15 15), the salt in this pond was exchanged with horses of ethnic minorities, and their horses were Huamachi, so the name of the salt pond was Huamachi.

Huamachi is a salt pond with high economic value, with a vast water surface of 3 million square meters. According to Dingbian County Records, Huamachi is about 2 miles north and south, 6 miles east and west, and the surrounding area is about 16 miles. Fishing in February and March every year, until August and September, the salt production is about 8 million Jin.

Huamachi has become an important economic zone and tourist attraction in Dingbian. The local folk proverb says: "Three sides are good, there are three treasures, white salt, fur and licorice are sweet." The ancients said: "Snow accumulates in the mountains in front of the shore, and pearls are born in the pool."

Huamatan is one of the eight scenic spots in Dingbian.
