My department is the short video community product department of Tencent Microvision, and my daily work is mainly responsible for real-time monitoring of hot spots in the whole network, rapid output of hot content and development of creative gameplay. Simply put, it is the content operation of short video.

Seeing this, you may be curious, how can I, an ordinary undergraduate from a double-non-college, enter Tencent for a holiday internship, and my major has nothing to do with my post?

In fact, after my interview, I specifically asked my leader, "Why did you choose me?" Because in my eyes, even if we recruit interns, Tencent has the conditions to choose the best candidates, and the answer he gave me impressed me deeply. "We choose people who can do things directly!"

On the way home from the interview, I kept thinking about his words, and finally understood the reason why I unexpectedly got this holiday internship.

When I received an interview invitation from Tencent, I immediately found Xiao Qi who was deeply involved in the field of short video and Shu Min who had worked in Tencent. I had an in-depth communication with them specifically for this position, and listed the questions that might be asked in the interview as small points. I took notes bit by bit through the information I got online and the communication with my sisters. On the way to the interview by car, I was still paying attention to the latest news in the field of short video. Facts have proved that these preparations are meaningful.

2. You should be talented and practical!

As my leader gave me the answer, "We choose people who can do things directly!" Enterprises choose people who can create value for enterprises and have real talents and practical learning. Don't try to fool the interviewer with false cleverness, because all cleverness will be seen through in front of the interviewer. Only when you are really strong and armed with knowledge can you be comfortable in the interview.

3. sincerity!

Sincerity is often the most touching thing. On the eve of the interview, I was unfortunately allergic to my face due to physical reasons. However, after receiving an interview invitation from Tencent, I took a bus from Guangzhou to Shenzhen on the day of the interview because I was afraid of missing this opportunity. It was already evening after the interview, so I hurried back to Guangzhou. As soon as I entered the room, the quiz arranged by the interviewer came. Before I had time to rest, I quickly finished the quiz and submitted it, with a long sigh of relief.
