Huairou District is located in the northeast of Beijing, 50 kilometers away from the urban area and 32 kilometers away from the Capital Airport, with Miyun in the east, Shunyi in the south, Changping and Yanqing in the west and Fengning, Luanping and Chicheng counties in Hebei Province in the north.
