It borders the Yellow Sea in the south, jiaozhou city in the north and Zhucheng, Wulian and Rizhao in the west. Northeast and southwest are 79.25 kilometers long and 62.36 kilometers wide from east to west. The land area is 2096 square kilometers, the sea area is about 5000 square kilometers, the coastline is 282 kilometers, the beach is 83 square kilometers, and there are 42 islands and 23 natural harbors along the coast.
