Xizang Autonomous Region People's Hospital is located in the center of Lhasa, a famous historical and cultural city in China, adjacent to the Potala Palace, a world cultural heritage, and the scenic Zongjiao Lu Kang Park. The hospital was established in 1952, covering an area of 166000 square meters. It is a comprehensive third-class first-class hospital with the strongest comprehensive strength, the most comprehensive professional categories and the greatest development potential in Tibet. It actually has 850 beds and 33 medical and clinical departments, and is responsible for managing three institutions in the autonomous region: emergency center, maternal and child health hospital of the autonomous region and plateau medical research institute of the autonomous region.
