Special post teachers is a special policy implemented by the central government for rural compulsory education in the western region. Through the open recruitment of college graduates to teach in rural schools below the county level in the "two basic" counties in the western region, guidance and encouragement College graduates are engaged in rural compulsory education, innovate the supplementary mechanism for teachers in rural schools, gradually solve the problems of insufficient teachers and unreasonable structures in rural schools, improve the overall quality of rural teachers, and promote the balanced development of urban and rural education.

Teachers on special posts sign an employment contract, usually for five years. When the employment period expires, they can continue to be employed if they perform well.

"Three Supports and One Support" refers to the fact that college students go to the grassroots level in rural areas to engage in agricultural support, education, medical support and poverty alleviation work after graduation. The policy basis of the plan is Document No. 16 issued by the Ministry of Personnel in 2006, "Notice on Organizing College Graduates to Go to Rural Grassroots Levels to Engage in Teaching, Supporting Agriculture, Supporting Medical Care and Poverty Alleviation". Its purpose is to provide college graduates with opportunities to contribute to grassroots work. Provide specific guidance and guarantees for units to implement employment issues.

Three supports and one support are temporary new supports and are not established. There are targeted job recruitments for civil service examinations.
