After accepting the case, the bureau dispatched a number of elite police forces, such as network security, criminal investigation, legal system and police station, to set up special classes. Through a large number of investigations, the police in the special class found out that the information came from a company called "a survey in Wuhan". The network police tracked along the line and went to Wuhan for many times to verify that the real identity of the advertiser was Xu, and behind it was a criminal gang headed by Pan who violated citizens' personal information.

In the early morning of September 2, the special police closed the nets in Wuhan and Xiantao respectively, and all the people involved in 10 were arrested. According to the police investigating the case, the 10 gang openly advertised to attract customers through websites, WeChat, QQ and other online platforms, and illegally carried out "private detective business such as finding people, finding cars and investigating extramarital affairs". According to preliminary statistics, from the summer of 20 18 to September this year, the gang was suspected of committing 24 crimes, involving more than 400,000 yuan, with victims all over the country.

According to the police report, Pan was born in 1962, a native of Wuhan. He used to be a successful businessman, running a computer business. After the business slump, he thought of playing law. Nevertheless, Tao and Zhang stayed silently. In their view, this is just "helping people in need" and will not violate the law. After being familiar with the "circle", Xu, a 35-year-old "insider", took Zou Mou, Zhan Mou, Du Mou and others to Pan Mou to conduct.

It is reported that Pan is a core member of the gang, responsible for overall management, personnel deployment, business negotiation, collecting remuneration and obtaining citizens' personal information. Xu is the backbone of the gang, promoting the company's business and personnel deployment through the network, and participating in or on-site guiding the work of finding people, finding cars, tracking and shooting. Other gang members, such as Tao and Zhang, carry out specific "business", while gang member Liu collects citizen information from the Internet and sells it to Pan for several hundred yuan.

According to the police, the charge for "finding a car" ranges from 6,000 yuan to 65,438+10,000 yuan according to the difficulty. After receiving the entrustment of the "customer", the gang used illegal means to obtain the driving track of the searched vehicle, and then sent its members to "sweep the building" (look for it next to the relevant community). After finding the vehicle, they quietly installed a GPS tracker under the vehicle and took photos and sent them to the "customers". After receiving the down payment from the customer, they send the vehicle location to the customer to collect the final payment.

The gang "looks for someone", inquires about the address of the sought-after person through illegal means, or illegally obtains the address of the sought-after person through express delivery, and even quietly installs a camera at someone else's door for "real-time monitoring".
