Huangdao District, also known as Qingdao West Coast New District, is a municipal district of Qingdao and the ninth national new district in People's Republic of China (PRC). Huangdao District is a national pilot zone for coordinated development of land and sea, an international high-end marine industrial cluster, a demonstration zone for international cooperation in marine economy, an international shipping hub and a blue economy pilot zone in Shandong Peninsula.
