The orientation of ideological and political education in colleges and universities is more clear.

Recently, the 20th17th annual meeting of Peking University China Marxist Teaching and Research Association was held in Beijing. Some scholars believe that the course "Introduction" plays a particularly important role in the whole ideological and political course system in colleges and universities, and undertakes the special mission and task of studying and propagating China-oriented Marxism. Teachers engaged in the teaching of "Introduction" should attach great importance to the study and publicity of the spirit of the 19th National Congress. For this reason, the seminar has compiled a book "Theoretical Research on Social Development in Contemporary China", which provides a good model for teachers to deeply understand the spirit of the 19th National Congress.

At present, the construction of ideological and political courses in colleges and universities is gratifying, teachers' cognition of teaching attitude is more clear, and more and more teachers are committed to academic research. Both the central government and local governments pay more attention to the teaching quality and level of ideological and political courses, and care more about teachers' teaching and scientific research activities.
