Sanming Technical Secondary School includes Sanming Vocational Secondary School, Sanming Agricultural School, Sanming Industry and Trade School, Yong 'an Vocational Secondary School, Youxi Vocational Secondary School, Datian Vocational Secondary School and Jiangle Vocational Secondary School.

1. Fujian Sanming Vocational Secondary School and Sanming Tourism Vocational School are vocational secondary schools directly under Sanming Education Bureau and the only provincial-level key school recognized by the Ministry of Education.

2. Sanming Agricultural School, Fujian Province was founded in 1965, and belongs to Fujian Provincial Department of Agriculture and Sanming Municipal People's Government. It is a national key secondary vocational school and a provincial civilized school.

Sanming Industry and Trade School is a municipal secondary vocational school in Sanming. The school was founded in 1978, formerly Ninghua Normal School, and trained more than 7,000 primary school teachers for Sanming City. In 2000, secondary vocational education was approved by the higher authorities and renamed Sanming Industry and Trade School in Fujian Province. In 2004, it was identified as a provincial key secondary vocational school by the provincial government.
