Hulin Town belongs to Wuzhong District, Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province, and is named after its proximity to Taihu Lake. It is located in the southwest of Suzhou, bordering Taihu Lake in the east and west, connecting Mudu Xukou in the north, Hengjing Street in the east, dongshan town in the south, facing Wujiang across Taihu Lake in the southeast, with a coastline of 23 kilometers and a green coverage rate of 25.26%. It is a township with beautiful environment in China and a sanitary town in Jiangsu province.

Geological landform

Hulin Town is a part of Taihu Lake water network plain, which was deposited by Taihu Lake and landed on the ground in front of the temple and the horse house. It has a history of more than 1000 years. The terrain is low and flat, slightly inclined from north to south, the water network is dense in the south and sparse in the north, and the river channel is shallow and narrow.

The ground of Hulin Town is mainly composed of alluvial and lacustrine facies, and the main component of soil is paddy soil (clayey yellow soil).
