2. Intelligence agencies of various services and arms

All military regions and services in Vietnam have intelligence offices, whose task is to collect tactical and campaign information needed by this system, and important information should be reported to the Intelligence Bureau of the General Staff for unified processing. The Intelligence Bureau of the General Staff Department is responsible for providing operational guidance to the intelligence bureaus of various services and arms, and formulating and reviewing plans for gathering intelligence or conducting reconnaissance.
