Sun Yaoting (November 30, 1902 - 1996), a native of Xishuangtang Village, Jinghai District, Tianjin City, was the last eunuch in China, nicknamed Liu Jin.
In 1916, the Sun family sent Sun Yaoting to the Forbidden City through the introduction of trustees. He endured the greatest insult to his personality and became a eunuch. He was 15 years old at the time.
During the Zhili-Fengtian War in 1924, Feng Yuxiang defected to Beijing and expelled the last emperor Puyi from the Forbidden City. Puyi hid in his aunt Rongshou Gulun's house and followed him into the Japanese Embassy in China.
After Sun Yaoting left the palace, he continued to serve Wanrong at the home of the regent Zaifeng. More than a month later, Wanrong went to find Puyi. From then on, Sun Yaoting ended his career as a eunuch.
His autobiography "The Last Eunuch in China" was adapted into a movie in 1988.

Later, Eunuch Ding came to persuade Lai Xitong to serve Puyi who was under house arrest in the Japanese Consulate. Unexpectedly, Ding was brutally murdered by the Japanese outside the consulate. When Laixi returned to her brother-in-law, her revolutionary husband also came to pick her up
