Brief introduction of hydrological characteristics of Bengbu section of Huaihe River Basin?

Bengbu section is a typical section of Huaihe River. Since 1950s, the amount of incoming sediment in this reach has obviously decreased, with no systematic increase or decrease in runoff, and the bed-building flow is slightly larger than that in the flat channel, so it is a relatively stable reach. This section of the river is slightly scoured, basically balanced in scouring and silting, and has the conditions for expanding excavation and dredging. Combined with the planning of Huaihe River flood storage and detention area, the river channel tends to be stable after expanding the main channel according to a certain scale.
