What is the most memorable part-time job you have done?

As a college student, part-time job is the main part of my college life.

I've done a lot of part-time jobs, bits and pieces. Waiter, dishwasher, doorman and so on, but the most unforgettable part-time experience is working as a cashier.

It was last summer vacation. I felt that I couldn't get real exercise as a waiter in a hotel, so I arranged for someone to work as a cashier in a supermarket. Compared with waiters, cashiers have more contacts with people and can broaden their horizons, which should be of great help to me who is about to graduate and set foot on the society.

Although I have done many part-time jobs, I am really alone this time, and I am far from home. It is also the first time to have a sense of crisis.

On the first day, I was definitely nothing. The supervisor arranged for me to study next to a full-time cashier. Honestly, it's embarrassing. I stood beside him for five hours. Besides, there are many rules for being a cashier. If you are not careful, you will lose points and the fault tolerance rate is very low.

In this way, I stood beside other cashiers for four or five days, mastered the cashier skills, and started a formal cashier life.

Why do you say that being a cashier is my most impressive part-time experience, because this position has really changed a lot of cognition. The more people I meet, the more I can grow. Through this position, I have really matured.

Once I was at the normal cashier, and then a young couple came to check out with their children. Pushing the car, the woman holding the goods, the child sitting in the car. A very big child, about five or six years old, was uncomfortable sitting in the car, but I didn't care.

After paying the bill, the couple pushed the car out, but I didn't expect an alarm to sound at the door. It turns out that they hide things under the child's ass, so that the child can hide them tightly. This incident finally made a big deal, and the police and everything came.

Later, I learned from other cashiers that they were recidivists, but I didn't expect that what I often stole was labeled with a magnetic stripe, which triggered an alarm and was directly caught.

In the past, this kind of thing could only be learned on the news, but this time it happened to me, which was really hard. There will be such parents in the world who bring their children to the supermarket to steal things. What will this child become in the future?

In all my part-time experience, cashier is also the most frustrating thing for me.

I am a very shy person, and my relationship with other colleagues is not progressing fast. At first, I didn't have any change at the cashier's desk, and I was too embarrassed to find someone else to change it, so I was in a hurry. I feel silly now.

In my opinion, the most unforgettable part-time job will definitely help me grow up the most. Although the experience of being a cashier is very hard, it really makes me mature a lot.
