Police recruitment examination conditions age limit

Legal analysis: age limit for police recruitment examination: above 18 and below 30; Master's and doctoral students (non-in-service) can be relaxed to 35 years old.

Legal basis: People's Police Law of the People's Republic of China.

Article 26 The people's police shall meet the following conditions:

(1) Citizens who have reached the age of 18;

(2) Supporting the Constitution of People's Republic of China (PRC);

(3) Having good political and professional qualities and good conduct;

(4) Being in good health;

(5) Having graduated from high school or above;

(6) Volunteering in the work of the people's police.

One of the following circumstances, shall not serve as the people's police:

(1) Having received criminal punishment for committing a crime;

(2) Being expelled from public office.

Twenty-seventh people's police recruitment, must be in accordance with the provisions of the state, public examination, strict assessment, merit.
