With the smooth progress of the urban tram project, it is expected that the first train of Jiaxing tram "Nanhu" will arrive in Jiaxing in February this year, and then the joint debugging and test of the tram demonstration section will be carried out simultaneously.

It is understood that the demonstration section of the first phase of the tram project (Jiaxing South Station-Jiaxing Railway Station) mainly involves the 19 traffic intersection. At present, Shi Xue Road and Gongfang Road have been paved. At the same time, four intersections of Qingfeng Road South Third Ring Road, Qingfeng Road Wenxian Road, Shuangxi Road, Public Housing Road Zhonghuan South Road and Linggongtang Road have been opened to traffic, and Quanfu Road, Qingfeng Road Wenxian Road and Wuqiao are the three routes of the whole highway.

The tram network planned to be built in the near future includes T 1, T2 and T6 lines.

T 1 (Xiu Yuan Road Station-Jiaxing South Station) is 20.2km long, with 3 1 station;

The first phase of T2 Line (North Bus Station-Science and Technology City Station) has a total length of13.7km, with 23 stations.

The first phase of T6 line is the connecting line between T 1 line and T2 line, with a total length of1.8km. There are three stations from the middle school attached to the experimental middle school.
