If the temporary number plate specifies the driving area, it shall not be exercised beyond the driving area. If the driving area is not determined, you can drive out of the city, but pay attention to come back to apply for the license before the temporary license expires.

1. If a motor vehicle needs to travel temporarily on the road under any of the following circumstances, the owner of the motor vehicle shall apply to the vehicle management office for a temporary driving license plate:

(1) Not sold;

(two) the motor vehicle obtained by purchase, transfer, gift, etc. is not registered;

(3) Scientific research and stereotype test;

(four) special motor vehicles whose axle load, total mass and overall dimensions exceed the national standards and are not registered.

Two, the motor vehicle owner to apply for a temporary license plate shall submit the following certificates and vouchers:

(a) the identity certificate of the owner of the motor vehicle;

(two) motor vehicle traffic accident liability compulsory insurance certificate;

(3) In case of any of the circumstances specified in Items (1) and (4) of Article 1, the factory certificate of the whole motor vehicle or the import certificate of the imported motor vehicle shall also be submitted;

(4) Under the circumstances specified in Item (2) of Article 1, the certificate of origin of the motor vehicle, the certificate of ex-factory qualification of the whole motor vehicle or the import certificate of the imported motor vehicle shall also be submitted;

(five) in the case of item (three), a written application and a certificate of motor vehicle safety and technical inspection shall also be submitted.

The vehicle management office shall, within one day from the date of acceptance, examine the certificates and vouchers that belong to the circumstances specified in Item (1) and Item (2) of Article 1 and need to be driven temporarily within the administrative area, and issue a temporary driving license plate with a validity period of no more than 15 days; If it is necessary to drive temporarily across administrative regions, a temporary driving license plate with a validity period of no more than 30 days shall be issued. Article 1 Under the circumstances specified in Items (3) and (4), a temporary driving license with a validity period of no more than 90 days shall be issued.

If the license plate cannot be issued within the prescribed time limit due to reasons such as license plate making, the vehicle management office shall issue a temporary driving license plate with a validity period of not more than fifteen days.
