Marked by the construction of seawalls within eight years of the Southern Song Dynasty, the territory of Zhu Qiao Town gradually became land, and the people gradually migrated. During the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty, in order to prevent the invasion of Japanese invaders, Tang Qiao supervised the excavation of the Yukou River on the east side of the Inner Han seawall, and bamboo was built on the river as a bridge. Today, the name of "Zhu Qiao" is the homonym of "Bamboo Bridge".
