Brief introduction of Guangzhou Transportation Administration Bureau

(a) responsible for the city's road passenger transport, freight, road transport station (field) business administrative license and all kinds of permits, the issuance and management of bills, in violation of laws and regulations to investigate and deal with acts according to law. Formulate relevant management regulations and implementation rules for road transport industry, and conduct supervision and inspection. Responsible for guiding the law enforcement activities of the county road transport management institutions.

(two) in accordance with the relevant provisions of the road transport enterprises to undertake the qualification rating, quality credit assessment and annual inspection of operating vehicles. Responsible for the qualification examination, certification and daily management of drivers operating road passenger and freight transport, and for the guidance and supervision of road transport qualification training institutions. Entrusted by the Municipal Transportation Commission, responsible for the qualification examination, certification and daily management of road dangerous goods transport practitioners.

(three) responsible for the specific implementation of road transport industry safety supervision, stability and emergency handling. Responsible for the station management and operation order supervision of bus passenger station. Entrusted by the Municipal Communications Commission, responsible for car rental, passenger transport and freight forwarding related affairs.

(four) responsible for the sampling survey, statistics and data analysis of the road transport industry in our city. Responsible for the supervision and management of fuel consumption of road transport vehicles in our city.

(five) responsible for the specific implementation of the city's major festivals (holidays), large-scale activities and disaster relief road transport security work. Assist the Municipal Communications Commission to conduct emergency command and coordination on large-scale activities, major (special) accidents and emergencies in the transportation industry, and cooperate with relevant units and departments to formulate emergency plans and carry out emergency drills.

(six) responsible for the supervision and complaint handling of road transport service quality. Assist the Municipal Communications Commission to build and manage the traffic service hotline, and supervise the implementation and handling of acceptance.

(seven) responsible for the road transport industry information construction, promotion and application of information technology to supervise the operation of the industry. Assist the Municipal Communications Commission to do a good job in the construction of traffic information, be responsible for the monitoring and evaluation of various formats in the transportation industry, and be responsible for the pre-evaluation (simulation test) of urban traffic management, including providing pre-evaluation services for traffic management policy adjustment, road occupation construction, traffic improvement, and large-scale event traffic organizations.

(eight) to undertake other tasks assigned by the Municipal Transportation Commission.
