What are the famous nuns in China?

1. Lianxi Temple is located in Panlong Mountain, 7.5km outside Dadongmen, Wuchang, Wuhan. It is one of the four Buddhist jungles in Wuhan, and it is also the Buddhist "female jungle" in Wuhan. Lianxi Temple was built in the late Yuan Dynasty and early Ming Dynasty, when incense was very prosperous. At present, Lianxi Temple faces south, with an area of about1.2000 square meters. Most of the existing buildings were built in the Yuan and Ming Dynasties.

2. Baique Temple is located in Baifo Village, northeast of Nanhe County, Xingtai City, Hebei Province 10 km. Founded in the Southern and Northern Dynasties and the Northern Zhou Dynasty, the temple site faces south and covers an area of 100 mu. Master Shi Wugui, the current abbot.

In the late Northern and Southern Dynasties, Guanyin Bodhisattva became a monk as the daughter of the king in the White Buddha Store in Shunde (now Xingtai). 3. kaifu temple is located in Xinhe, north of Changsha, Hunan Province, near Xiangjiang River. The main building, facing south, is a Buddhist Zen Linjizong Yang Qi Temple.

Kaifu temple was founded in the Five Dynasties, and experienced the Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties. Covering an area of 48,000 square meters, with a building area of 1.6 million square meters, there are three Buddhist temples, namely, three temples (Maitreya Hall), the Giant Buddha Hall (Mahayana Hall) and the Pilu Hall. The east wing has a living room, a zhaitang, a warehouse and an abbot's room, and the west wing has a dharma hall and a meditation hall. There is a stone tablet in the temple between Kangxi and Guangxu in Qing Dynasty.

4. Longquan nun, located in Haojiang District, Shantou City, Guangdong Province, halfway up Zhushan Mountain in Shi 'an (named after the collapse of Qiansi). Built at about 1930, facing south, with a building area of about 100 square meter.

5. Thousand Buddha Pagodas Temple, located on the mountain in the eastern suburb of Meizhou City, is still in the urban area, and you can see the backlit Thousand Buddha Pagodas far away. Thousand-Buddha Pagoda Temple, centered on stone pagodas and built on the mountain, has been perfected for more than ten years.
