My hometown Jinhu is located in the Lixiahe area, with Hongze Lake on the top, Gaoyou Lake on the bottom, and Baoying Lake and Baima Lake in the middle. It is a well-known water town. The superior geographical environment makes it fertile, beautiful, rich in products, making it a bright pearl in northern Jiangsu. I have been born and raised in this land for more than 40 years and have personally experienced the rapid changes in my hometown. Especially in recent years, the spring breeze of the Party has blown into my hometown. Under the correct leadership of the county party committee and county government, the people in my hometown have taken the lead and dared to fight. Since then, my hometown has undergone earth-shaking changes. Last Saturday, I had the honor to participate in the "Thousands of Teachers See Jinhu Lake and See the New Changes in Their Hometown" event organized by the county's education system, and I was deeply shocked.

Sitting in the car, driving on the wide and flat asphalt road, looking around, the county has become bigger, the houses have become taller, and there are more cars. It seems that everything is changing and becoming overwhelming. I couldn't believe my eyes, it felt like I was in a bustling metropolis.

We first came to Lotus Square, which our hometown people are proud of. We were dazzled by the pink lotus terrace, landscape pavilion, tree array, floating wooden stacks, lotus and lotus leaf sculptures, and lotus-themed inscriptions. The newly built Lotus Square is like a hibiscus blooming in the embrace of Willow Bay Wetland. However, who would have thought that just a year ago this was an abandoned port. County leaders are far-sighted and based on the principles of protecting the ecology and serving people's livelihood, they aim to provide citizens with leisure and inherit the Dutch culture. Through environmental improvement and artistic polishing, they have built this place into a lotus-themed square, showing people that water and the city are accompanied by water. A beautiful landscape with lotuses and willows in harmony. It is harmoniously unified with the ecological atmosphere of Willow Bay Wetland Park, providing a good place for citizens and tourists to appreciate the charm and unique charm of Dutch culture. Continuing to walk forward, there is a tree-lined path paved with colorful square bricks at your feet, with fir trees, oleanders and green shrubs growing on both sides. A pavilion, corridor and fitness equipment were built on the platform near the waterside. Now it has become the first choice place for people in the hometown to relax and exercise.

Continuing forward, we came to the industrial park, where we saw factory buildings springing up like mushrooms after a rain. The flowers remain the same every year, but the enterprises are different every year. We walked into the leading enterprise in the industrial park - Zhanwang Pipe Industry. It is a national high-tech enterprise and the largest pipe R&D and manufacturing enterprise in China. The group pays attention to the construction of corporate culture and stimulates the vitality of the overall team, thus improving the cohesion and combat effectiveness of the company. What we see in front of us is no longer the rumbling machines, but workers standing in front of modern equipment operating in an orderly manner. The labor intensity has been greatly reduced, and the working environment has also been improved. Brilliance creates the future, and I believe that the future of the pipeline industry will be even more brilliant!

On the way east from the county seat, there used to be a flooded road that was only accessible during the dry season. It was the chokepoint to the towns in the east and north. During the flood season, the road is flooded, and people have to rely on ferries to cross the river, making transportation very inconvenient. Today, a two-way four-lane bridge about two to three kilometers long spans both sides of the waterway into the river, which has greatly facilitated the economic life of the people in the hometown. It can be said that "one bridge flies to the north and south, and the natural chasm becomes a thoroughfare."

Then we came to the famous city of Hong Kong. The 60,000-square-meter Hong Kong City is located in the core commercial area of ????the county center and is the number one commercial project focused on by the government. As a commercial aircraft carrier jointly built by Changshu Merchants Mall and Wenzhou Business Group, Hong Kong City is a comprehensive hypermarket integrating clothing wholesale and retail, gold electronics, home appliances, daily necessities, catering and entertainment, administrative finance, etc. It is a government It focuses on supporting industries and is also the only commercial center of Jinhu. The Hong Kong City project is located in the core business district of the city, surrounded by China Resources Suguo, KFC, banks, and the city central square, which provides favorable conditions for the commercial development of Jinhu.

On the way, we also visited the newly built Jinhuwa Art Primary School and Jinhu Special Education School. The beautiful campus, brand-new buildings, green grassy playground, and modern teaching facilities made me envious. , how lucky today’s children are to go to such a beautiful school. The grand campus plan and ambitious educational goals allow us to once again feel the vigorous development of Jinhu’s education.

My hometown has changed, and it has become difficult for me to find traces of the old days; my hometown is so beautiful that we never want to leave. My hometown is Baoying, the picturesque hometown of lotus roots. In recent years, my hometown has changed a lot. Did you know? Let me tell you. Baoying has gone from an inconspicuous small county to the bustling pearl of Jiangsu Province. The most conspicuous one is Baitian Road, a sunny avenue paved on the open fields. Baitian Road stretches from Xinbaoshe River Bridge to the south and to the new development zone in the north. The road is wide and flat, and beautiful street lights illuminate the road in front of pedestrians. Walking on this road, you will feel very comfortable as the breeze blows gently. There are many buildings on the roadside, such as Anyi Senior High School, Qinqin Home, Nanfeng Phoenix Garden, etc. High-rise buildings have risen from the ground. Many residential areas already have 12-story buildings and have installed sightseeing elevators. The roads in the old city are full of potholes, the street lights are not that bright anymore, and some houses still leak when it rains heavily. Compared with today's new city, it is a world of difference. From the southern end of Baitian Road to the west, residential areas are being built one after another. The rectangular flower beds on both sides of the road are blooming with colorful flowers, and the environment is very beautiful. The Baoshe River Bridge is the majestic and imposing bridge I have seen for the first time. Standing on the bridge, the fresh and cool air comes towards you, which is really fascinating. In order to be more labor-saving, more convenient and more beautiful, the two blue semicircles placed in the center of the bridge seem to be equipped with a pair of wings. At night, the bridge is brightly lit and traffic is flowing. I heard that an underground park is being built under the bridge. In the near future, we will be able to sit in the park and enjoy the scenery of the bridge! Going south from the Baoshe River Bridge, roads extend in all directions and criss-cross, and the rural scenery is even more charming.
