The two heavyweight roads that people in Shangqiu Daobei are familiar with, Jiefang Road and Dongfeng Road are finally open to traffic!

The newly built Jiefang Road and Dongfeng Road in the northern part of Shangqiu City have been opened to traffic, and Laozhuji and the new northern road are getting a new look.

The intersection of Jiefang Road and Dongfeng Road, located on the northeast side of Shangqiu High-speed Railway Station, is the historical Lao Zhuji Dayu Headquarters. It is the earliest origin of Shangqiu Road Beicheng District. The construction history of Lao Zhuji can be traced back to 1404 (the second year of Yongle in the Ming Dynasty), and it has been 616 years now.

In December 2012, the construction of the Zhengzhou-Xu High-speed Railway started, and the demolition of the old city in the north of Shangqiu Road began.

On September 10, 2016, the Zhengzhou-Xu High-speed Railway was officially put into operation. The north station building of Shangqiu High-speed Railway Station was re-erected in the north of Daobei. Shangqiu has since entered the "high-speed rail era". Now with the opening of Guide North Road, Baohe North Bridge, Jiefang Road, and Dongfeng Road in Shangqiu North Road, a new North Road is about to be born!
