Which city or district does Yangling belong to?

Xi Yangling District is nominally under the jurisdiction of Xianyang City, but its formal administrative jurisdiction is exercised by the Yangling Demonstration Zone Management Committee.

Yangling District is located in the middle of Guanzhong Plain in Shaanxi Province, 82 kilometers east of the provincial capital Xi and 86 kilometers west of Baoji City.

As of 20 19, Yangling District has jurisdiction over Yangling District of Xianyang City. Yangling District People's Government has jurisdiction over three streets (Yangling Street, Lee Tae Street and Dazhai Street) and two towns (Wuquan Town and Rougu Town), 55 administrative villages and 23 communities. The management committee is located in Xinqiao North Road.

Yangling used to be Yangling. "Yangling" was named after the tomb of Yang Jian, Emperor Wen of Sui Dynasty. After the death of Emperor Wendi of Sui Dynasty, he was buried in the original site of Four Emperors and Three Emperors, named Tailing. Because of its surname Yang, people generally call its mausoleum Yangling. Emperor Wen of Sui Dynasty, Emperor Wen of Sui Dynasty, died in 604 AD (four years of Renshou). From AD 604 to AD 1729 (the seventh year of Yongzheng in Qing Dynasty), people may call this place Yangling.

After liberation, Fufeng and Wugong counties also managed Yangling successively, and Yangling was called Yangling Town. Before 1980s, Yangling was a "commune" in Wugong County. At that time, Yangling Railway Station wrote "Kung Fu". After 1980s, Yangling was changed to Yangling District of Xianyang City. 1997, the national yangling district was established here, and Yangling was renamed Yangling, which is still in use today.
