The controlling project is a highway-railway dual-purpose bridge across the Pearl River Estuary, with a bridge length of 14. 1km, four railway lines, six highway lanes and a double-tower steel truss girder cable-stayed bridge with a main span of 980m. China Railway Fourth Survey and Design Institute Group Co., Ltd. is the overall design unit of the project, and is responsible for the design work except the main span of the Pearl River Mouth Bridge. China Railway Bridge Survey and Design Institute Group Co., Ltd. is responsible for the design of bridges below the main span of the Pearl River Mouth Bridge (from CK43+863.555 to CK58+6 19.220, with a line length of 65438+).

In the future, Maoming East Station will become the intersection of high-speed rail in western Guangdong (Maozhan high-speed rail, Shenmao high-speed rail and Zhanmaoyang intercity railway), Luozhan railway, guangzhou-maoming railway, Hemao railway and Yuehai railway, and will become an important transportation hub. The upgrading project of Maoming East Station has been completed, and it is a modern second-class station.

Maoming East Station * * * has four main lines, five bus arrival and departure lines (two of which are also Guang Mao main lines) and three goods arrival and departure lines, with an effective length of 850m.
