Where are the three nuclear power plants in Shandong built?

Three nuclear power plants in Shandong: Haiyang Nuclear Power Plant is located 200 meters south of Shaojiazhuang Village in Haiyang Nuclear Power Industrial Zone. Shandong Hongshiding Nuclear Power Station is located in Rushan City, Shandong Province. Shidaowan nuclear power plant, namely Huaneng Shidaowan high temperature gas cooled reactor nuclear power plant, is located in Rongcheng Shidaowan, Weihai City, Shandong Province.

Haiyang nuclear power plant is located at the eastern end of a headland surrounded by the sea on three sides, covering an area of 2,256 mu. It is planned to build six million kilowatt nuclear power units and reserve expansion sites.

Shandong Hongshiding Nuclear Power Station plans to build six million-class nuclear power units, and the first phase of the project will build two million-class nuclear power units, and strive to put into operation at the end of the Twelfth Five-Year Plan.

Shidaowan Nuclear Power Station is the first demonstration project in the world to successfully commercialize the fourth generation nuclear power technology. The site is located in Ningjin Bay in the north of Shidao Bay.
