Pangang Group Co., Ltd. was established on1October 26th, 1989. Its predecessor was Panzhihua Iron and Steel (Group) Company, and it was renamed Pangang Group Co., Ltd. on February 28th, 2009. Now it is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Angang Group Company. On may 20 10, with the approval of the State Council, Angang group co., ltd and Pangang group co., ltd were reorganized jointly. After the reorganization, Angang Group Corporation was newly established as the parent company, and the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) performed the investor's duties on behalf of the State Council.
