The valid documents for Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan residents to apply for the qualification examination for primary and secondary school teachers are Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan residents' residence permits, Hong Kong and Macao residents' travel permits to and from the mainland, and mainland travel permit for taiwan residents, which are valid for 5 years. Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan residents who hold residence permits for Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan residents may apply for taking the qualification examination for primary and secondary school teachers in their places of residence in the Mainland. Hong Kong and Macao residents who hold Hong Kong and Macao residents' passes to and from the Mainland and residents of Taiwan Province Province who hold a five-year validity period may apply for the qualification examination for primary and secondary school teachers in the Mainland, and the qualification of primary and secondary school teachers is recognized at the place where the examination is held.

4. To apply for kindergarten teacher qualification, you should have graduated from kindergarten normal school or above; To apply for the qualification of a primary school teacher, one should have a college degree or above; To apply for the qualifications of teachers of cultural courses and specialized courses in junior middle schools and junior vocational schools, and the qualifications of teachers of cultural courses in senior middle schools, secondary specialized schools, technical schools and vocational high schools, one should have a bachelor's degree or above; To apply for the qualification of practice instructor in secondary specialized schools, technical schools and vocational high schools, one should have a college degree or above, and should also have a professional technical qualification equivalent to assistant engineer or above or a technical level of intermediate workers or above.

5. According to the spirit of "Notice on Independent Coding of Public Subjects for Students Majoring in Music, Physical Education and Aesthetic Education in Primary and Secondary Schools" issued by the Teacher Qualification Examination Department of the Ministry of Education, since the second half of 20 17, candidates majoring in music, physical education and aesthetic education have been coded separately for public subjects I and II, and the examination contents are temporarily the same as the original subjects. After the implementation of separate coding, music, sports and facial make-up candidates should choose public subjects with separate coding when registering for written examination. Candidates who have passed subjects 20 1A and 202A are only allowed to participate in the major subjects of music, physical education and beauty in primary schools. Candidates who are qualified in subjects 30 1A and 302A are only allowed to participate in music, physical education and aesthetic education in junior high schools, senior high schools and secondary vocational schools. Candidates get the qualified scores of subjects 20 1, 202, 30 1 and 302, which can replace the qualified scores of subjects 20 1A, 202A, 30 1A and 302A. Candidates got qualified grades in subjects 20 1A, 202A, 30 1A, 302A, which are irreplaceable in subjects 20 1, 202, 30 1, 302.

According to the Document Notice of the Teacher Affairs Department of the Ministry of Education on Adding the Subject of Mental Health Education to the Qualification Examination for Primary and Secondary School Teachers, since the second half of 20 17, the subjects of "Mental Health Education", "Japanese" and "Russian", as well as the written subjects of the above three new subjects, namely "subject knowledge and teaching ability", have been added to the cultural courses of junior high schools, senior high schools and secondary vocational schools in the qualification examination for primary and secondary school teachers. The subjects of "mental health education", "information technology" and "primary school general practice" were added to the primary school category interview. Candidates who intend to apply for the teacher qualification certificate of the above subjects, choose the corresponding public subjects to apply for the written test.

Students of grade three and above in ordinary colleges and universities can apply for the examination in the examination area where their colleges and universities are located with the certificate of studying in China or the online report of their school status issued by the school.

20 12 and later students majoring in normal education should take the teacher qualification examination when applying for the qualification of primary and secondary school teachers.

According to the decision of the executive meeting of the State Council held on August 17, 2020, the Ministry of Education issued the Notice of the Ministry of Education on Printing and Distributing the Implementation Plan of Primary and Secondary School Teachers' Qualification Reform for Postgraduates and Public Normal Students. Postgraduates of master of education and normal students at public expense who meet the exemption conditions can take part in the assessment of education and teaching ability organized by the school, or voluntarily take the national primary and secondary school teacher qualification examination and apply for the corresponding teacher qualification.

Those who have been disqualified as teachers shall not register for the examination within 5 years; Those who are deprived of political rights, or who have received criminal punishment of more than fixed-term imprisonment for intentional crimes, may not sign up for the examination. If there is cheating in the teacher qualification examination, it shall be implemented in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Measures for Handling Violations in the National Education Examination.
