How to collect semen from boars and how to raise pigs?

There are two main sperm collection methods for boars: one is artificial vagina sperm collection, and the other is hand-held sperm collection.

At present, hand-held semen collection method is commonly used, because this method can flexibly grasp the pressure required for boar ejaculation, with simple operation and good semen quality.

Methods: Before sperm collection, the instruments used for sperm collection were disinfected, and 4-5 layers of gauze were put on the sperm collection cup for later use.

Sperm collectors should first cut their nails flat, wash and disinfect them or put on sterilized soft rubber gloves and clean work clothes before sperm collection. The operation points are as follows:

(l) Grab: The sperm collector crouches behind the fake sow. When the boar climbs onto the fake sow, it should immediately scrub the boar's foreskin and dirt with O. 1% potassium permanganate solution and dry it with a clean towel.

When the boar reaches orgasm and extends out of the penis, the sperm collector should immediately hold the spiral part of the front end of the boar penis with his left hand (palm down), and the tightness of the grip should be based on preventing the penis from slipping.

(2) Pull: With the twitch of the boar penis, carefully pull the penis out of the foreskin.

(3) Kneading: After pulling out the penis, gently press and massage the front end of the penis with your thumb, which can increase the pleasure of boars and promote complete ejaculation.

(4) Collection: When the boar ejaculates, the left hand should be squeezed rhythmically to stimulate the boar to ejaculate fully. Generally, the first ejaculated semen mixed with urine and other dirt is discharged first, and when the milky semen is ejaculated, it is collected with the right hand holding the sperm collection bottle.

When discharging colloidal clots, remove them by hand.

After sperm collection, the penis was conveniently put into the foreskin, and the boar was driven off the false sow.
