Introduction of artist Shen Wei:

Shen Wei, born in 1962, is from Hunan. Now he is a professor and master tutor of Tsinghua University Academy of Fine Arts. 1989 graduated from Central Academy of Arts and Crafts. The work "Flower" was selected for the China Art Exhibition and toured in Austrian and other countries. The work "Winter" was selected in the "Art Exhibition to Commemorate the 50th Anniversary of Mao Zedong's Speech at Yan 'an Forum on Literature and Art".

The work "Pastoral" was selected for the 8th National Art Exhibition. The work "Bao" was selected in "97 Beijing Heavy Color Painting Exhibition". The work "Morning Melody of the Lotus Pond" participated in the 40th Anniversary Exhibition of the Central Academy of Arts and Crafts. The work "Love of the Old Country" was selected as the "First China Flower and Bird Painting Exhibition".

The work "Jing Tang" was selected in the "Exhibition of Contemporary Famous Flower and Bird Painters in China" and won the Excellence Award. His work "Growing Old Together" was selected for overseas China Art Exhibition and won the Maple Leaf Award. The work "Flowers and Birds" was selected for the "Art and Science Exhibition" and won the international jury award. The work "Flowers and Birds" was selected as "China Science and Technology Week Art and Science Exhibition".

The work "Pond Series" was selected in the "Tsinghua Gongmei Cup Painting Grand Prix" and won the highest prize. The works Xiang Xiang and He Tu were collected and displayed by CITIC Bank. Brief introduction of artist Tang Xiuling:

Tang Xiuling, female, was born in Zibo, Shandong Province in 1956. She graduated from the Fine Arts Department of Shandong Normal University in 1983, from the Advanced Class of Chinese Painting Department of Central Academy of Fine Arts in 1994, and from the Advanced Training Class of Heavy Color Painting of the Ministry of Culture in 1998. He is currently a member of China Artists Association, vice chairman of Shandong Artists Association, vice chairman of Zibo Federation of Literary and Art Circles, chairman of Zibo Artists Association, professor of Fine Arts Institute of Shandong University of Technology, director of academic committee, and academic leader of the first batch of key disciplines in Shandong Province.

Visiting Professor of Jiang Caiping Studio, Graduate School of China Academy of Fine Arts, and tutor of young and middle-aged artists and master students in Shandong Province. His works were selected for the 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th national art exhibitions sponsored by China Artists Association, and won the silver prize in the 10th national art exhibition and the bronze prize in the 3rd and 4th China meticulous painting exhibitions. Three works were collected by China Art Museum.

His works have been selected by the Foreign Affairs Bureau of the Ministry of Culture for exhibitions abroad for many times. His works have been published in Fine Arts, Fine Arts Research, China Painting and Calligraphy, Chinese Painting Research, Chinese Painter and Jiangsu Pictorial. Co-edited with experts from China and Japan the book "Famous Artists' Heavy Color Painting Techniques", and compiled a new version of meticulous figure painting techniques and the first heavy color painting style in China.

In the long-term historical development, meticulous painting has established a strict technical system, thus forming a unique style of this painting. Line modeling is the characteristic of Chinese painting techniques, and it is also the foundation and backbone of meticulous painting. Meticulous painting requires neat, delicate and rigorous lines, and generally uses a center pen. It is dominated by inherent colors, which are generally gorgeous, calm, bright and elegant, with uniform tones, and have a strong aesthetic taste of China national colors.
