It is difficult to start the diesel cold car. Reason:

1, low temperature causes the viscosity of lubricating oil to increase, the starting resistance of the engine to increase, and the speed of the starter with the same power to drag the flywheel ring gear to decrease.

2. Low temperature slows down the chemical reaction speed in the battery, reduces the discharge capacity of the battery, and reduces the output current value of cold start, resulting in weak start.

3. Low temperature also weakens the combustion performance of diesel oil, and the combustion performance of 0 #- 10 # and -20# diesel oil is quite different. In addition, the low inlet temperature will also affect the diesel atomization and compression deflagration temperature.

Correct starting method of diesel cold car;

1, hot water can be added to the water jacket of water-cooled small single-cylinder diesel engine for preheating before starting, but once it fails, the water can be discharged and then the second heated water can be preheated.

2. After preheating, rotate the crankshaft to stir the oil in the oil pan and send it to the surface of moving parts to form an oil film, so as to reduce the dry friction between parts caused by lack of oil and improve the service life of the diesel engine, and then start the engine.

3. It must be warmed up after starting, that is, idling for 5 minutes. After the standby temperature rises, put on the low gear, increase the throttle appropriately, start smoothly, and then gradually increase the speed and increase the load of the diesel engine. But the engine should not idle for a long time, otherwise it will produce carbon deposit due to incomplete combustion, block the injector, and cause the valve and piston ring to stick together. Generally, the idle speed should not exceed 10 minute.
