What is a fire mobile detachment?

In order to actively adapt to the new situation and new tasks of fire rescue work, fully undertake the rescue task of Guangdong's major disasters and accidents, and meet the demand of inter-provincial reinforcements, the unveiling ceremony of the comprehensive emergency rescue mobile detachment of Guangdong Fire Rescue Corps was held on the morning of August 13, marking the formal establishment and putting into duty of the comprehensive emergency rescue mobile detachment.

The mobile detachment consists of seven professional rescue brigades, including geological disaster rescue, water rescue, mountain rescue, nuclear and biochemical rescue, heavy construction machinery rescue, combat support and emergency communication support.

Among them, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Dongguan detachments and the special service brigade of the Corps each built four rescue brigades for heavy geological disasters. Combined with the provincial flood fighting and rescue mobile team, 22 water rescue teams were set up in various detachment units in the province. Shaoguan and Zhaoqing detachments each built two mountain (high altitude) rescue brigades. The special service brigade of the corps and the Shenzhen detachment each built two nuclear, biological and chemical rescue brigades. Guangzhou and Shenzhen detachments each built two heavy construction machinery rescue brigades. Guangzhou, Maoming, Shantou, Huizhou, Shaoguan, Meizhou and Jiangmen detachments set up seven combat support brigades. Two emergency communication support brigades have been built in Guangzhou detachment and the special service brigade of the corps. Relying on the organs of the Corps, the command organ of the mobile unit is established, which consists of eight functional groups, including operational command, political mobilization, communication support, dispatching and information contact, combat support, medical support, propaganda support and support experts.

According to reports, the Guangdong Provincial Fire Rescue Corps Comprehensive Emergency Rescue Mobile Detachment highlighted the actual combat pull, and * * * organized two actual combat drills with no plan, no script, open space integration and multi-team joint cross-regional earthquake rescue. The field test team quickly assembled, maneuvered and responded. Power transmission, technical rescue, comprehensive support, collaborative equipment and other capabilities. Combined with the actual task of flood disaster in the whole province, we organized three water rescue drills, and successfully completed the rescue tasks such as "6. 10" Heyuan flood fighting and rescue.
