What does floor heating mean?

The suppression of floor heating is the inspection work after floor heating construction.

After the completion of floor heating construction, the construction unit must carry out floor heating suppression test to check whether there is water leakage. Floor heating is a concealed project, and there is a set of industry standard system from installation design to acceptance. After the backfill of floor heating is completed, it is basically impossible and unnecessary to change the system, so the suppression of floor heating is the most critical link in the installation process of floor heating. The qualified pressure indicates that the system is normal, and the unqualified pressure indicates that the floor heating system has water leakage, construction and other faults, which need to be investigated and re-suppressed by the construction personnel.

In addition, the floor heating radiant heating system needs pressure maintenance construction from the laying of heating pipes, the installation of heat medium collection and distribution device and the pressure test to the expiration of concrete filling layer maintenance.

Preventive measures for floor heating suppression;

1. Anti-freezing measures must be taken during the pressure test in winter.

2. Whether the pressure value is normal or not, the pressure difference is the key to reference. The greater the pressure difference, the faster the circulation and the continuous heating.

3. When water injection is conducted for inhibition test, the water injection speed must be slow. When the system is full of water, the sealing condition of each loop must be carefully checked to prevent the data from being inaccurate.

4. After the pressure test is completed, release water through pressure relief, and at the same time, make corresponding suppression records and file them for future reference.
