How about Hubei College of Traditional Chinese Medicine?

Hello everyone, I am a grade 20 student at Hubei College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Every school has its advantages and disadvantages, and we cannot say it is good or bad. The following is for reference only. Hubei College of Traditional Chinese Medicine is a public full-time general college.

Dormitory conditions

I think what everyone is most concerned about is the dormitory conditions. The school is divided into two dormitories, the medical dormitory and the Longxin dormitory. In previous years, Longxin dormitory did not have air conditioning, but it was just installed this semester. The conditions of the two dormitories are quite good. The girls should have private bathrooms. For the boys, I remember that Longxin doesn’t seem to have one. Basically, they sleep for four people, and a few of them sleep for six people. It looks like the picture below. :

Canteen Restaurant

The food and drinks in the canteen are pretty good. There are sofas on the second floor for resting and private rooms. You can book a small private room for birthday parties or team building. Sometimes you can also read and review on the second floor of the cafeteria. If you are hungry, you can just buy something to eat. The price is a little cheaper than outside. We recommend the Jinhua kimchi, fish meal, and Shanxi Yipin Hao Noodles on the second floor of the cafeteria.

The school originally had a back street with many snacks and Mixue Ice City, but it has been demolished recently. I don’t know if it will be rebuilt, but there is a high probability that there will be no snacks in the future. .

Sports facilities

After the school merged with the Yangtze River Engineering Institute next door, it has two playgrounds and two basketball courts. There are also venues for badminton and table tennis. The environment in the volleyball room and yoga room is not particularly good, and it is not as good an environment as going to a training class outside, but it is acceptable.

School environment

From an objective perspective, the campus environment of this school is average, not large, but the greening is very good, and the scenery is quite beautiful. As mentioned before, it merged with the next door After the Yangtze River Engineering Institute, the area is a little larger than in previous years (I personally think the area is smaller, and running classes is less tiring hahahahahaha). The school has a bank, a medical office and a library. The express delivery point is quite close to the dormitory building, which is very convenient

The management is a little strict. After all, we are studying medicine, whether it is undergraduate or junior college, there are more courses, but I think our school is better than ordinary The junior college is better. After all, it takes two years for a junior college to learn medicine well. It is not easy and requires hard work.

The teachers are really good, very talented and individual. There are many older teachers who are very good. The learning atmosphere is also very good. It's not the stereotype of a junior college. There are quite a few people who love learning, but there are also some who just mess around. Of course, every school has students who love to study and have fun.

Military training arrangements

I remember that my military training lasted about two weeks, and the instructors were all sophomores who had returned from the army. Overall, I felt quite happy that year. Yes, although it is very strict, the instructor is quite interesting. Also, just wear sunscreen, otherwise you will get tanned.

Employment prospects

The employment and academic requirements for medicine have always been relatively demanding. Our school has many majors, including traditional Chinese medicine, traditional Chinese medicine, and acupuncture. Western medicine clinical, dental, rehabilitation, nursing, etc., please check the official website for details.

However, hospital recruitment requirements require a high degree of education. No matter what major it is, the best suggestion is actually to upgrade from junior college to bachelor's degree. Of course, our school also has majors that can be used as a bachelor's degree (I heard that nursing can be used as a bachelor's degree). Know the rest.

For the major of traditional Chinese medicine, the competition for upgrading is relatively high. Among them, medical examination and rehabilitation are better for upgrading. I don’t know much about nursing. The remaining cosmetology and pharmacy are not easy to judge and I don’t know much about them.

In the end, no matter what, the moment we enter junior college we are destined to be slower than others, so we must work harder than others.

I hope my answer can give some help to the students who choose this school. I wish you all a bright future! Rush the duck!
