Danxi Town is a town under the jurisdiction of Yueqing City, Zhejiang Province, located in the middle of the Yandang Mountains. After the zoning adjustment of Yueqing in 2011, the new Danxi Town was merged from the original Danxi Town and the original Sidu Township. The number of administrative villages increased from the original 28 to 43, and the total land area expanded from 44.2 square kilometers to 85.2 square kilometers. The total population at the end of 2000 was 22,895, and the population increased to 26,000 in the 2010 census. It is the city’s grain and fruit breeding base and aquatic product breeding base.

Danxi Town has the Danxi Reservoir, a national key water conservancy project with a capacity of 43.6 million cubic meters, with a daily water supply of 100,000 tons, providing a population of nearly 400,000 in six towns including Yueqing City and Hongqiao Town. Domestic water.

Danxi Town is also a good tourist resort. Wang Shipeng, the champion of the Southern Song Dynasty, also left many footprints here. There are currently four major scenic spots: Danxi Lake, Tiantai Terrace, Longmen Gorge and Longtan, covering an area of ??about 19 square kilometers, with beautiful lakes, warm springs, deep gorges and dangerous valleys.
